...the time of learning has passed, mere dust now.
.....this is the time of The Long Night.

Wolfach, Bavaria, Year 1230

“The banners of the king advance, the mystery of the cross shines bright; where his life went through with death, and from death brought forth life.”

Virtually untouched, the people as elusive and isolated as the dense, thick forests that are the subject of many whispered tales. Werewolves, sorcerers, witches and the Devil leading them all, always disguised, never the same.

Here, Europe, the Vatican, faith does not exist. There is only superstition and brute strength. The manor and surrounding villages ruled over by their Lords with the same ruthless control as his forefathers before him wielded. Just, emotionless, yet still the whispers persist, of wolves in the night...

The manor town and village of Wolfach, the Black Forest, Bavaria Germany, 1230. The noble bred warrior wolf pack has had control over the area since it became populated, and though the villagers do not know their Lord and his Knights are lycans... times are dark, gossip thrives, and people are scared.

The mysterious vampire, Saphael, has set up court in the neighbouring town, surrounded by admirers, syccophants and loyal servants, intent on taking over this rich in ore and wood, game and fresh blood, area.
